The bottom box is where the content of the email goes. Above that are 4 boxes:<\/p>\n<h2>To:<\/h2>\n<p>In there you put the email address which should have only one @ in it. If your computer has the name in the address book, you can start to type the name and it will automatically fill it in.<\/p>\n<h2>Cc:<\/h2>\n<p>line is short for carbon copy. If you want to share the email with someone other than who it is to, you add a second name there. You should not put a name of people that don&#8217;t know one another. If you are sending to a list, use BCC:<\/p>\n<h2>Bcc:<\/h2>\n<p>Blind carbon copy means everyone who receives it can see the body of the email but can&#8217;t see who else it is sent to. This is a good way to not accidentally share the private email addresses of people.<\/p>\n<h2>Subject:<\/h2>\n<p>The subject line is what it is about. Try to make it specific and short so it is easier to find the email again. If the subject is &#8220;hi&#8221; spam filters may catch it and put it to trash.<\/p>\n<h2>Threads:<\/h2>\n<p>The email program will add Re: to the replies. If you forward the email, the program will add Fw: to the front of the subject line.<\/p>\n<p>For business emails being clear, brief and with one subject per email makes it easiest to respond. Send separate emails for unrelated subjects.<\/p>\n<p>When the emails all have one subject between people, it is called a <em>thread<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The email box has boxes.
